     Jackson--Ill seriously for two weeks, Charles Wilhelm, 79 years old, succumbed at 11:10 a.m.
     today at his home on West Main street of heart disease.

Arrangements for the funeral had not been made today.
Mr. Wilhelm had lived most of his life in the county, and for the last 29 years in Jackson. He was
born in Germany Feb. 22, 1853, and came to this county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilhelm,
when five years old.

The family settled in the Byrds Creek community five miles from Jackson and he grew to manhood there.
Mr. Wilhelm was married to Miss Henrietta Sievers in 1876 and she died 15 years ago.

Surviving relatives include three daughters, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister and one
brother. The children are Mrs. Ida Englemann of near Jackson,Mrs. Adolph Zschille of Old Appleton,
Mrs. D. E. Crites of Jackson, Henry W. Wilhelm of Capulin, N.M., is the brother and Mrs. Charles Sievers of Oak Ridge the sister.

Mr. Wilhelm was the oldest member of the Evangelical Church here, in which he had held membership 65 years.

JACKSON--August Wilhelm, 52 years old, a widely known farmer of the Schoenebeck vicinity, died Sunday afternoon after a long illness, caused by cancer. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the St. John Evangelical church, the Rev. Jankowsky of Jackson officiating.
Wilhelm was born on the farm where he lived all his life and where he died. He is survived by his wife, who was Alma Koehler, and to whom he was married on Feb. 19, 1903; two sons, Wm. and Adolph, who live at home near there; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. D. E. Crites and Mrs. Wm. Englemann of Jackson and Mrs. Ad. Zschille of Friedheim, and his father, Charles Wilhelm, of Jackson.

Jackson--Mrs. Alma Wilhelm, 73 years old, prominent in the Wolfenkoehler community north of Jackson, died at 9:30 o'clock Sunday night at her home. Mrs. Wilhelm, formerly Miss Alma Koehler, was born in that community Sept. 22, 1875. She was married to August Wilhelm who preceded her in death on March 2, 1930. Since that time she had resided with her son, Adolph Wilhelm and family.
The body will be removed from the McCombs Funeral Home this afternoon to the family home. At 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon it will be taken to the St. John Evangelical Church where she was a lifelong member and services will be conducted at 2 o'clock by Rev. H. H. Franke of Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Wilhelm is survived by two sons, Willie Wilhelm, who lives near the home place, and Adolph Wilhelm; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold Geiser of Cape Girardeau and Mrs. Albert Sawyer of Jackson; one brother, Henry Koehler of Cairo, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
